1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear: because fear has torment.  He that fears is not made perfect in love.

The real "No Fear"
(Part Three)

Has there ever been someone in your life to whom you could go and receive total and complete love and acceptance?  I mean no matter what you have done.  You could go and find that person and they would love you and embrace you and accept you for exactly who you are.

Only the very fortunate on this earth have had that opportunity.  I hope you are one of the very fortunate.

It is a "mother's love" that will always be there to love the unlovable in us.  I understand that all mothers do not fall in to this category, but in general, mothers love their children no matter what.

Yes, fathers do too, to some extent, but a mother's love is not quite as "performance-based."  I am speaking now in the realm of generalization and stereotypification (an invented word, just now conceived by me because it fits).

In case you now feel neglected having never felt this type of love, I have excellent news.  And this news is for all of us, saved, unsaved, half-saved (half-saved?).  Well, the point is that no matter the condition of your soul at this moment, our wonderful FATHER loves you and me unconditionally!

Unconditional love is HIS invention and is the pattern for motherly-love described above.  HE made unconditional love so HE would have a way to love HIS people (actually all people) in a way that would and does make a difference!

Check out this Scripture:

Romans 5:8 But God commended his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

HE had unconditional love for the sinners of the world at a time when there were no "great churches," only sinners.

Are you a sinner?  Probably, if by that I mean a person who commits sin.  You may be one who just barely touches the surface of sin, or you may be a hardened and vicious transgressor.  Great news for all . . . .

You are loved with an unconditional (motherly, and then some) love!  Like it or not, the worst to the best of us are loved unconditionally!  HIS truth, not mine.  If you disagree, argue with JESUS!

OK.  Let's bring it all home . . . .  Perfect love drives out fear (dread) because we have no reason or excuse to dread or fear when we have a GOD who loves us perfectly.  HE is there (here now) to love, embrace, help, protect, heal, mend, build and cleanse us at all time.  HE never sleeps or slumbers and HE is perfect at all HE does!

Immerse yourself in this thought today and every day and be set free from all fear.
