To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath
made us accepted in HIS BELOVED (Ephesians 1:6)
YOU ARE IMPORTANT TO GOD
Every man living under the sun has this feeling of great
importance. People feel they are if not in their family, in their place of
work or worship and so on. But when this feeling of being very important,
significant and of course great value is tampered with, the individual starts
feeling rejected, unwanted worthless etc, which most often leads to emotional
trauma, and to some people it might leads committing suicide.
Listen my good friend, I have good news for you today,
and the good news is that you are important to HIM who made you and loves you
more than you can ever think or imagine. You are of great importance to God,
not just that you are approved of God!
I used to spend a great deal of time and energy trying
to accept by other people. I want to people to love, appreciate, respect and
admire me and even approve of all that I do. But it was like a waste of time
and energy. But when I finally realized, understood and became convinced of
the fact that I was accepted, significant and loved by GOD, I longer had any
need for seeking man’s approval.
Beloved, until you understand how important you are to
God, you will continue to be people pleaser, being different things to
different people. You might even end up becoming addicted to approval.
I want to announce to you today that you are important
to GOD. Once you realize the depth of His love and acceptance of you, all your
motivations and drive turns towards pleasing HIM and HIM alone. And when your
thought is consumed with pleasing God you find out that you will start feeling
loved not only by GOD but by all. And you will begin to enjoy what I call
"A HEALTHY PERSONALITY" praise God!
