Faithfulness

"Know therefore that the LORD your GOD is GOD;
He is the faithful GOD, keeping His covenant of love
to a thousand generations of those who love Him
and keep His Commands."
Deuteronomy 7:9

 

GOD is faithful to His Word, when He makes a promise He keeps it, up to even a thousand generations.  Have you ever made a promise to do something and then been unable to follow through?  Well, GOD isn't like that with us, He promises to keep His covenant of love with mankind as long as we're faithful to Him.  Does that mean that He doesn't love those who aren't faithful to Him?  Not even close.  He loves us all no matter what, and He is waiting for us to make a choice between Him and the world.  GOD never stops loving us.

The LORD is faithful even where we would normally fall through.  It might be for our family or friends where we might drop the ball, but He picks it up and runs through with it.  Personally, I have failed friends or family on more than one occasion in the past and will most likely do so again in the future.  No matter how badly I goof up or someone else drops the ball that I'm counting on, I know that I can always rely on JESUS to be faithful.  The LORD will always follow through on His promises, His covenant of love for all of us.

The truth has been shown to you through the Son, what are you going to get up and do about it?

"All who call upon the Name of the LORD will be saved."
