Welcome to Page 1 on the topic of Addictions it is obvious that you are asking for help. You have begun a journey that JESUS will walk with you.  HE will not turn back, and HE will not let it be so hard that you will fail!  JESUS will be your strength.  

 

"But remember that the temptations that come into your life are no different from what others experience. And GOD is faithful. HE will keep the temptation from becoming so strong that you can't stand up against it. When you are tempted, HE will show you a way out so that you will not give in to it." 1 Corinthians 10:13

 We will use that Scripture as a pattern for your release from addiction.  Please print it or write it down or, better yet, memorize it!
 
Addiction comes in many forms.  On these Pages we will focus on addiction in general.

The basic definition of addiction:

 

Compulsive need for and use of a habit-forming substance (as heroin, nicotine, sex, food or alcohol) characterized by tolerance and by well-defined physiological symptoms upon withdrawal; broadly : persistent compulsive use of a substance known by the user to be harmful.

Addictions destroy the lives of it's victims.  It is from the enemy of your soul.  It is meant to torment you and eventually destroy your life and as many of your loved ones as possible. Note: JESUS said that the thief comes to kill, steal and destroy, But I have come to give you LIFE.
